On the Corner of Great Food and A Good Time
(With Some Paint Thrown in the Mix)

If there’s one thing we know, it’s that bars come and go.  So when we opened Social House Soulard, we didn’t want it to be any old watering hole. We wanted it to be special, one of a kind, and memorable — just like our nightclubs and restaurants have always been over the last 15 years of making our mark on the St. Louis entertainment scene. We just don’t do “ordinary”, so we sought out this location, gutted it, and decided to call it home. The feeling you get from the minute you walk into Social House is one that you won’t get at any other restaurant or bar (We know, they all say that, but here, it’s true! No…really, it is!).

Soulard has a history of being a place for sexy venues. After all, it is THE home of Mardi Gras in St. Louis. People come from near and far to watch the parade that passes right outside our front doors and participate in the world famous Soulard Mardi Gras activities. So, we got to thinking…what if we gave that same exciting Mardi Gras experience to our customers whenever they want it? Now we all know, one of the best parts of the Mardi Gras celebrations is the body art. But little did we expect just how much our customers enjoy it! For the past couple years, women have asked to be painted themselves while at the festivities. Given that the guys enjoyed it and the women wanted it, we thought, “why not give them what they asked for every year?!” and decided to make body art for the public a permanent part of our Mardi Gras offerings to customers.

When our beautiful servers asked if they could be painted for other special occasions, we began to get the idea that this wasn’t just a Mardi Gras thing. It didn’t take long for us to wonder “what if we give our customers more of what they want?!” And so our signature body art was born. Which is one of the things that makes Social House so unique! C’mon, if you’ve been at Social House even once, you have to agree…we’ve done it better than anyone else could have. We took crazy Mardi Gras shenanigans, mixed with the tasteful, art-inspired look of a Sports Illustrated cover and give our clients an unforgettable experience that they’ll talk about long after they finish our famous jumbo shrimp appetizer. We can honestly say you won’t find women painted exquisitely every day of the week in any other St. Louis restaurant.

As always, we like to push the limit to keep the edgy, electric vibe of Soulard alive. But we know it’s not enough just to be different. After all, several bars have tried and failed in our current location — we’re the only one with staying power! We back that up with really (yes, really) great pub food that goes above and beyond what you’d expect at any other corner bar. We know St. Louisans are sports fans too, so we’ve equipped the bar with 30+ brand new TVs, and for those of you who want to see the games live, we even provide a free shuttle service in our private Social House Coach that will take you to and from the games. From the great food to the free game day shuttles and the eclectic art on beautiful women, we offer it all. As the hottest sports bar in the area, we work each and every day to uphold our reputation as the place to be for any baseball game, weekend outing, special event or after-work happy hour.

We’ve settled into Soulard and we’re thrilled to be part of the area’s culture by honoring the community and what it stands for through the years. We’re proud members of the Soulard Restoration Group and Soulard Business Association. For the past six years, with the love of our customers (aka fans), we’ve continued to thrive and we have no plans of slowing down. Social House is our labor of love and we want to share it with the people of St. Louis and its visitors to enjoy and make memories. Head on down to Social House any day of the week. Kick back, relax, and let us do the rest!
